Named for DC musician Charlie Byrd, this brightly painted coffeehouse and music shop in Adams Morgan offers a large selection of vinyl records, digital listening stations and a 1947 Voice-O-Graph recording booth where customers can emerge with their own 45 rpm record. Would-be artists also fuel up on artisanal java drinks and sandwiches like braised pork shoulder or open-faced focaccia numbers starting at 10 AM all days except Mondays.
